We recommend the database be compacted and repaired on a WEEKLY Basis after completing the Bill run to ensure the smooth and efficient running of Spike.
A Spike2 Compact icon should be located on your desktop. (Please contact the Help Desk if this icon is missing) By double clicking on this icon, the program will condense and compact your database.
Click on the START button.
Select PROGRAMS / Spike2 / Spike2 Repair.
Select OK on the 'Successfully repaired' message window.
Note: Please contact the Help Desk if you would like assistance to setup a Spike2 Repair icon on your desktop.
WARNING! All programs including Spike MUST be closed down before performing a Spike2 Compact and Repair.
